MEET THE FOUNDER

Saree, a traditional garment that has transcended time and trends, holds a unique place in the realm of fashion. As an IIM alumnus with 15 years of experience in Human Resource Management, I have always been driven by a passion for fashion. My journey through various styles and looks led me to discover my love for saree, that not only complements my persona but also embodies comfort and elegance.

Throughout my exploration of fashion, I realized that clothing should not merely be a means to cover the body; rather, it should enhance one's individuality. The saree, with its versatile draping styles and rich cultural heritage, allows for a personal expression that is both sophisticated and timeless. In a world where we often feel pressured to conform to specific fashion norms, the saree stands out as a garment that adapts to the wearer, rather than the other way around. This philosophy resonates deeply with my belief that "we are not made for clothes; clothes are made for us."

My experiences as a mother have further solidified my affinity for sarees. After giving birth to my two children, Aadya and Yunay, I encountered the inevitable changes in my body. The transition to motherhood often comes with challenges, particularly in maintaining a wardrobe that reflects one's identity and comfort. While many western formal attires became less accommodating, the saree provided a solution that was both practical and stylish. Its ability to flatter various body types and offer comfort without compromising on elegance has made it my go-to choice.
